In Texas there are three groups of people who can dispense hearing aids: Audiologists, Licensed Dispensers and Medical Doctors. The Hearing Aid Express team includes Audiologists, Doctors of Audiology and Licensed Dispensers (including National Board Certified Dispensers).
Audiologists were previously certified through a Master’s Degree program. As the audiology profession moves from a Master’s program to a Doctoral program Hearing Aid Express is moving right along with it.

Lacey C. Brooks, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Brooks graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Chemistry with a concentration in Pre-Med. She received her clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology at Lamar University and completed her clinical internships at various facilities within the Houston Medical Center.
Dr. Brooks is currently the Houston Regional Manager for Hearing Aid Express. She is a Professional Member of the American Tinnitus Association (ATA), a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and certified by the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition to performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, Dr. Brooks specializes in tinnitus therapy and adult hearing rehabilitation with amplification.
